A beautiful night and big visit.

The night was crystal clear and with no light pollution it was like being in a black bowl of tinsel. The last time we saw stars like that was in South America in the Atacarma desert and the Amazon. Never thought we would see the like in the UK. Still not seen the Northern Lights but fingers crossed we will have a better chance in the Shetlands.

Blue sky’s initially in the morning.

Gradually became a little cloudy with very infrequent showers. There’s a definite chill in the air now.

We had the visit from the director of operations and regional manager. Very pleasant it was very brief they had a look round site said hello and left. The club are paying us a bonus and paying for a night out in recognition of all the hard work and COVID related stress that we have endured thus season.

We spent the day washing the van taking down the awning and generally getting ready for the big off. The site shuts in 5 days. It is rapidly drawing to a close. As a farewell gift we have not 1 but 2 Westmacotts (not known or related) booked in on Saturday. It’s the first time I’ve encountered Westmacotts randomly. Strange but true.

The definition of patchy sunshine.

We are working tomorrow the site is gradually emptying and this unsurprisingly is the quietest we have been.

And chill 🌈😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
