Ain’t no valley deep enough! Long drives and fairy pools!

Set off to the local garden centre which is situated on the isle of sky via the fairy pools. A journey of approximately 3 hours there and back.

We arrived at the pools and selected the 5 miles round trip. Started from here.


Peaked after a few miles at this plateau


Circled around the snow capped peaks and eventually after a minor misplacement back towards the river.

Onwards to the garden centre the main purpose of the trip.Unfortunately no delivery’s yet we are due to construct the herb garden out of pallets tomorrow. We may have to order online 😏. The trip home was uneventful we had the roads to ourselves. We are aware of how lucky we are to explore this beautiful country with relatively few others around!


The journey home across Sky was stunning!
