Autumn has truly arrived

A sign we spotted yesterday and made us even more eager to return home. Today was a full day at work. We spent the day dodging the showers. It has a real autumn feel now. The temperature has dropped leaves are starting to turn golden and we have a carpet of fallen leaves coating the paths. We continue to collect and put down wood chipping around the hedges in an attempt to keep the weeds under control.

I was tasked with loading the trailer and then Rae took over and did the clever bit making it look pretty!

Again the sharing of the tasks breaks the day up a little.


Horses looking less than impressed with the weather.

It looks like the weather is remaining unsettled with more rain and gusty wind. Working tomorrow and then off early on Tuesday morning heading towards Fort William for a couple of days R&R
