Back in the saddle

Rae had Spanish and while she was hard at work I got the bikes out and ready. The new storage area in the van is working well.

We set off for a ride to Eastleigh.

There's a great cycle route that takes you into and out of the town centre. Across the river Itchen at Northam.

Then along the river to Eastleigh. Spent a fruitless afternoon trying to sort out David's new phone. The return journey was a little chilly but otherwise uneventful.

Al together a successful bike ride of approximately 30 miles. It works as the dog has his trailer and that enables him to get in and out as his stiffness is starting to impact him especially in the morning.

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a couple of friends in the afternoon and we are taking granddaughter ice skating in the evening.
