Better in the afternoon.

Heavy rain in the morning matched our slightly heavy heads from our trawl of the local hostileries last night. Today was the 30th day of July and it has rained every single day of the month. Tomorrow is forecast heavy rain all day. That will make it a full house.

We made the most of the better weather in the afternoon and drove to the 3rd park in Kilkaldy that we have visited. To give you an idea of the size of it the walk was over 7 miles. The space available up here is staggering.

Not bad for a town park. We crossed the busy A road by bridge and down a country path.

With some great views out across to the Lomond hills in the distance.

Past a host of win turbines they are enormous I don't think I've ever been this close to one.

We then returned across the fields to the car. It was yet again a surprisingly good walk and all the better for being unexpected.

It would be nice to have a few days of sunshine but it's not looking hopeful in the short term. Tomorrow is looking particularly dreadful so we will have to look for some indoor activities or put on the waterproofs and carry on regardless.
