Chest infection!

It felt like the coldest night yet in the van. I've got a chest infection and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Not sure whether the cold is making it worse or not. Topped up with gas and went out for a walk in the forest. The days continue to be clear and sunny.

And as a result the ponds remain frozen and the forest animals are left scratching around for food.

The walk was a little slippery underfoot

The sunsets as a result are beautiful.

We met up with my son and his children at Marwell to walk around the Christmas lights. Temperatures never got above zero and as the sun set they plunged again.

The lights were not overly impressive but it was nice to spend some time with family.

My daughter has taken pity on us and we are sleeping at hers tonight so hopefully we will be a little warmer. Luckily my granddaughter is at her fathers this weekend.

Tomorrow is grandsons 15th birthday and we are out and about with him.

Monday we head out on the road again.
