Cloudy in the morning downpour in the afternoon.

The weather has increasingly become more Scottish over the last few weeks. We’ve gone from unnatural heat and prolonged dry spell to something that the locals recognise as normal. In other words rain and limited sunshine. Unfortunately with that comes an increased risk of visits from our little flying brethren. We are approaching top midge rating for the next 3-4 days. So far we have been lucky but it seems our luck is about to run out. In a very weird way it has been such a big hype around them it would seem strange not to have experienced at least one epic swarm! I may be cursed and be cursing myself for expressing that thought. The morning I was able to get out and do some strimming my knee appears to be on the mend which is a relief.Rae shouldered her ghostbuster apparatus and blew away the resulting debris. We are working tomorrow morning and preparations are under way for the visit from my brother. Table is booked for tomorrow evening at the local public house. Bill is a keen photographer and we will set off on Monday with him to look for sea eagle.

Heres two photos he has taken recently of a local celebrity.
