DONNA and MICKS big day out🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The weather was forcast as rain and showers so we thought we would take the opportunity and head home! So we gathered up DONNA and MICK our new besties 😏 from north of the border, and set sail for Gibraltar.

OMG it rained almost like it was welcoming us home. There was thunder and lightning and non stop downpour.

We got across the border onto a very typical British high street.

Gordon's supposedly waterproof carriage was awash with water. As you can see he was less than impressed! In the end he refused to get into the portable swimming pool and elected to swim back.

We dived into a very English pub on the high street who very kindly brought towels for the dog but we were left to our own devices!

We decided to abandon the trip cut our losses and drive back. On the plus side we got 2 more stamps in our passports and 2 litres of Jim Bean for £20.

We will pass this little bit of home as we start the return journey so we could if wanted call in on a sunny day.
