Well this was our final day here in this part of the Highlands before we head north. We had been forecast a dry day and as most of what we need to do on site is completed we took the opportunity to walk up the valley adjacent to us on the Glen Afric trail up to the waterfalls. A walk of 12 miles return. All along the route there are waterfalls cascading down the hills crossing the path down into the river that runs the length of the Glen. I took so many pictures and will put them in a gallery.
I think if you tap on them they enlarge
Luckily we had packed waterproof although Gordon was less than impressed!
A fitting tribute to our time here. We shall always be grateful to the company for the chance to live up here.
We are now off for 5 months and will be travelling the length of the UK literally before restarting in Brecon in March. Looking forward to catching up with friends and family in due course. Off to Brora tomorrow for a spell by the sea-side wale spotting and being a camper. It will be nice to be on the other side . Using toilets and not cleaning them🏴😎🌈
