Goodbyes and gentle walk

We had paid a visit to a couple of the local pubs on the way back last night. As a consequence there was a gentle start to the day.

We said our goodbye and Neil left at about midday.

We took advantage of the early evening sunshine for a walk in and around the local park.

As you can see it was a glorious evening and the park was practically empty. We took advantage of the river to give Gordon the shade he craves.

It's great park with all eventualities covered and every time we have walked around it things are a little different.

The weather remains unsettled for the next 10 days or so with rain expected every day. We have suitable clothing so it should not stop us doing what we enjoy.

Not sure what we are up to tomorrow as yet.
