Highland disappointment

We waited whilst Rae completed her Spanish lesson Gordon and I walked round the park.

We then jumped on the train for the much anticipated highland games. The train trip was good but the games were a little like a sports day for big people. There was a huge funfair next to it which took the shine of things.

Luckily there were some great local pubs that kept us on track.

We took the train back and visited a couple of pubs before locating somewhere to eat.

A good day out even if the focus was a little disappointing.

Tomorrow Neil returns home and we return to our natural rhythm.

It appears rain is going to be be our companion for the next 10 days. So we have no idea what tomorrow will bring?
