Ice and waves

First day of holiday proper. Currently only 2 kids and we are expecting the other 2 tomorrow. This morning we were up and out early to drive to Gosport to watch Sienna at her ice skating lessons. It's at times like this that you realise how much time has passed since we were last in the area. She has come on leaps and bounds.

We dodged the showers and popped into Fareham for a bit before returning to the caravan and then to the beach.

It was windy and wet but still managed to do a bit of paddling.

It was very bracing and funnily enough we had the beach pretty much to ourselves.

Certainly the only person in the sea .

Tomorrow is a slightly better day and we will be joined by the other 2 grandchildren and possibly parents as well.
