Jeopardy and ice skating

The van needed to be up at Cobra Trim the guys who have done a lot of work over the last couple of years on the van. Today it was replacing the broken under vehicle spare tire holder.

After we dropped it off we picked up a ladder from the local hire shop and walked it round to the house. Unfortunately one of the gutters had sprouted a little garden and consequently the water was not running properly and was causing water ingress into the house.

Rae braved the heights as I did the hard work of steadying the ladder 🫠

Heights have never been my forte and as I get older the worse I have become. In my defence it was quite high!

Mission accomplished ladder returned we visited Rae's mum in Eastleigh. Still in a great deal of pain but has bravely managed to make it downstairs for a bit. It was nice to see her back to her old self.

I took the dog for a quick stroll around the local park before we returned to pick up the van.,

Next job was to grab a McDonald's for granddaughter before hurtling down the motorway to Gosport as she needed to be in rehearsals for the Christmas skating show. Managed to find her at the arranged rendezvous and made it with 2 minutes to spare.

2 hours sitting in the car park before the return journey!

Slow journey home due to traffic congestion.

Nice day tomorrow so will head for the forest.
