We failed miserably at our afternoon siesta sleep but soldiered on regardless. It does seem a little strange going out a 10.00. We stumbled across this very cosy Irish bar and it would have been rude not to have sampled their offerings!

A large pizza lined our stomachs before we got to the venue. The old town was heaving the number of bars, restaurants and clubs is astonishing. They all seem to be busy and are obviously still in business.

The venue itself was great. You had a limited view of the band but it didn't spoil the experience. The people were welcoming and it was a good atmosphere. Had a few hand gesture conversations and we were bought drinks even though we tried to politely decline. The band was adequate the best way to describe it was it would have made a good karaoke session. In fairness it's a tough act to follow as Mr Mercury was a definite one off.

We got home at about 2 after a 30 minute walk.

Today we left the dog behind and used his carrier as a shopping trolley. We eventually after a few wrong turns found the Carrfour Hypermarket and have re stocked for the festive period.

The storks are nesting on this old building. We will come back and explore further on another day.

Shopping completed and they still have Toys R Us store which bought back a few happy memories.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and the most special time for the Spanish families. So not sure what will be open. Weather continues to be on our side so fingers crossed we should be get Christmas on the beach.🤞

Not only didn't he sound like him there was no physical resemblance. They did however sing in English apart from one song!

The long drive.

Still awaiting a call from the blog admin to try and sort out storage issues. We got up reasonably early and left the sight at about 9 for the 6 hour or so drive to València. It was the best drive we
