OMG a sea eagle!

Another beautiful day in the sunny highlands. We spent the day on routine tasks in the morning. We spent the afternoon strimming mowing and hedge cutting. Rae is honing her skills in the big outside in preparation for our assessment at the end of the season. We headed off for a walk to the local loch as dolphins had been spotted. Unfortunately they had gone before we arrived. However on the way down we spotted a white tailed eagle. They have been reintroduced into the UK and are beginning to become established. The locals don’t like them as they can steal lambs. They are the 4th biggest eagle in the world with a wingspan of up to 8 ft . I tried to grab a picture but all I got was this.

The top picture is a Google one.

Once again when can you go for a walk and be disappointed that you only see

And these?

We are properly spoilt. Tomorrow we are off and out and about with Bill.

I apologise that there are no pictures from him today. He was out but whilst trying too get pictures of otters he was siting in bracken and managed to pick up 40 plus ticks. So instead of processing his pictures he was sitting having them removed by Rae!!!

Hopefully I will have some more great pictures too share tomorrow.

Gordon is very happy with his new bed that Simon and Judith very kindly got for him .
