Picnic on the beach

Heavy rain overnight and the morning followed suit. It gave us a chance to catch up on administrative duties! We then decided to pay a farewell visit to Chesil beach before we head homewards.

The route to the sea side. We arrived on the beach and we were the only people there.

Before stopping for a picnic on the beach. Not bad for Christmas Eve Eve.

Apparently someone had been here before us but we saw no one.

A beautiful day and we will be sad to say goodbye.

Tomorrow we head homewards to touch base with family.

Christmas beckons and it's a time to be with family.
