Rainbows raincoats and roundabout routes

Second day off starts wit a trip to the GP 20 miles of single track road through the clouds with Rae refusing to look. GP very concerned that her BP was extremely high🧐. We then set off for our first long walk. Supposed to be 8 miles in dry weather turned out to be 13 miles in very inclement weather🥺. Got lost in the mountains drenched to the skin with poor visibility and no signal for maps😱. Rae took it very well Gordon not impressed!

Lessons learnt

1.Waterproof backpack

2. Waterproof paper map.

3. Waterproof phone pouch.

4. More food.

5. Less dog😊.

6. Survival bags.

7. Compass.

8. Map reading skills!
