Staying local
Rain all night and into the morning. We had walked back from the Weatherspoons in town last night. We had treated ourselves to a meal and a couple of drinks. Gordon waited impatiently in the car and was resplendent in his low key waterproof.

The Glenrothes Hippos were designed and installed in the 60s in an attempt to inject a bit of humour into an otherwise soulless environment. There are 5 separate hippo installations in and around the town.
We've found a traffic free route from the site to the town centre some 2.5 miles away.

This is where the viaduct crosses the river.
The weather is set to be a very typical bank holiday Monday with rain expected all day.
As such we will have a look at using our newly acquired gym and swim membership.
