Tragedy averted

Started off in good spirits and hearts full of hope as we headed home. 40 minutes down the motorway there was a loud explosion.

That's the remains of the tyre on the motorway. My back tyre was shredded.

Very nice traffic control man shut off a lane and caused major tailback with accidents caused in the resulting jam.

A very nice AA man attended his dreads reached all the way down his back.

Back on the road and the journey home was largely uneventful.

As I pulled into Totton I was greeted by this

Hopefully a portent of things to come.

Tomorrow we will be settling in and sorting stuff out. Taking a breath and working stuff out.
