Unexpected work day and a story for our times.

We had planned to pack up and start cleaning the awning and the van. However we had to work as our colleague Judith was unwell. So the morning was spent doing the task around the site and we then went off to see one of the locals to get a some advice around Airbnb. We are considering renting out our house via Airbnb when we return home from our travels. This will give us the flexibility to be able to rent it out without contracts which means that we can then return home as and when we want. We have joined seminars and also researched online and it seems like a reasonably good plan.

The weather today was the best it has been for some time. Occasional blue sky’s with sunshine and the odd drizzle. One of the happy campers aged 82 who needed a walking stick too get about told us that he had been approached by an HGV company to return to work as they were that desperate. I genuinely was concerned that he was still driving a car let alone a huge lorry. Luckily brexit appears to be working out 🙄

We are working tomorrow and have a short visit from area manager and director of operations what ever that is.

We continue to wind down pack up and contemplate our future plans.
