We had decided to turn right rather than our usual left. This took the road and was an unrelenting uphill.
Some of the views were spectacular. As we headed upwards it became a little cooler. Before we left it was very hot. Trying not too be ungrateful but it was a little too hot 🥵.
Luckily we had the electric bikes as it would have been a proper slog. Even with electric you have to put quite a bit of effort in .
It was worth it as we reached the summit we stopped for a picnic.
It was one of the best picnic spots that we have found.
The route is a firm favourite with the local cyclists. There were streams of Lycra clad fanatics who still overtook us wimps with electric assistance.
The road is as you can see varied.
I would like to say not a cloud in the sky but I would be lying 🫠.
